A Fresh Start
Along with going door-to-door, I was able to attend some of my other favorite local events like the Cataract Bean Festival, the Stinesville Stone Quarry Festival, and the Cory Apple Butter Festival to name a few. After talking to hundreds of people over the past few months, it seems everyone’s top concerns are so far have been jobs, improving the economy and concerns over healthcare reform. While healthcare reform is a national issue, I believe we need to make sure that our state’s top focus is creating jobs and continuing to make Indiana a place businesses want to call home.
Speaking with so many people has renewed my competitive spirit to work hard to have the chance to represent the Wabash Valley in the Indiana State House. I have been going door-to-door since early September, and will continue to do so until November 2, 2010. My goal is to meet and talk to as many voters as possible, and if you see me around, please don’t hesitate to share your concerns with me. I’ll be updating my site on a regular basis, so be sure to check back often. In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns shoot me an email at bobaheaton@gmail.com.
Thanks for your support!
