Door-To-Door in Terre Haute

They say campaigns take a lot of sweat and hard work. We can add to the list the need of a good pair of shoes. I spent last Saturday knocking on doors in Terre Haute in two different precincts. One of these areas was hit particularly hard by the recent flooding in Vigo County...

Although the waters had receded in the area, the spirit of those living there had not. The flood victims we saw were busy putting their lives back together. Many of them could be found tending to their lawns, cleaning out their garages, and repainting the interior of their homes. Most were happy with the help they had received from FEMA and were appreciative that someone seeking office was taking the time to listen to them.

Again and again, I see that Democrats and Republicans alike both feel the need for new leadership. I believe deeply in our community, and I am serious about making it a better place to live and raise a family.

We wish all those affected by the recent flooding goodwill as they work towads resuming their lives.

God Bless,
